Amazon is listing the compact ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB below its recent list price, while 16GB GeForce RTX 50 cards still carry a street premium. For a 1440p build that actually needs 16GB of VRAM, that is the buy-or-wait fork this weekend.

The SKU is ASUS model DUAL-RX9060XT-16G, Amazon ASIN B0FLHBFFX4. It is the 16GB Dual, not the 8GB Dual, not Prime, and not TUF. Last-checked Amazon price, list, and timestamp sit on the product card. We checked the listing on August 30, 2026. Sold by Amazon.com. Delivery was showing a mid-September window, so treat this as a restock at a discount, not overnight Prime.

Why the 16GB card is the one that matters

AMD shipped two RX 9060 XT SKUs under the same name. The 8GB card is a different product with a different lifespan. TechSpot and Gamers Nexus both told shoppers not to sort this stack by cheapest listing. If the title does not say 16GB, skip it.

This Dual is RDNA 4, 16GB of GDDR6, PCIe 5.0, HDMI 2.1b plus two DisplayPort 2.1a outputs, Dual BIOS, and a 2.5-slot Axial-tech cooler about eight inches long. Board power is in the 160W class. Hardpulse has not run this SKU on our own bench. The numbers below are from those labs.

What the benches actually say

TechSpot’s 18-game suite put the 16GB 9060 XT a frame behind the RTX 5060 Ti at native 1440p, averaging about 70 fps, and 43 percent ahead of the previous-gen 7600 XT. Ray tracing is the remaining gap: about 20 percent slower in TechSpot’s RT set, and neither card is a comfortable RT play at this tier. Raster plus FSR 4 is the job.

Launch MSRP for the 16GB 9060 XT sat well below Nvidia’s 16GB 5060 Ti. Street pricing never fully honored that. ThePCEnthusiast’s August 2026 tracker still had 16GB 5060 Ti listings clustered far above launch, while 16GB 9060 XT partner cards sat in the mid-400s. Today’s Amazon Dual is in that band, and it is on sale versus its own list.

Buy, wait, or step up

Buy this Dual if you are building a 1440p PC now and do not want to pay Nvidia’s 16GB tax. Wait if you need DLSS, heavy ray tracing, or you can sit on a used 7700 XT or 4070. The 8GB 9060 XT is not a savings.

Step up to the RX 9070 GRE for more 1440p raster. For the broader stack, use the 2026 GPU guide and the PC build walkthrough. Other cards on sale are on the June GPU deals tracker.

FAQ

Is the ASUS Dual RX 9060 XT 8GB the same card? No. Same family name, half the VRAM, worse resale. Confirm 16GB on the Amazon title and the ASUS model string DUAL-RX9060XT-16G before you checkout.

Should I buy this over an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB? If the Nvidia 16GB card still sits at a large street premium, the 9060 XT 16GB is the better raster value at 1440p. Pay the Nvidia premium only when the two cards are close on price and you need DLSS or ray tracing as a default.
